Class 3. To explore fantasy creatures from legends, listen to a famous legend from Great Britain and read about a traditional legend from Mexico.

En la sesión de hoy vas a explorar vocabulario de las criaturas fantásticas de las leyendas, escuchar una leyenda famosa de Gran Bretaña y leer una leyenda tradicional de México.



Activity 3.1 En el siguiente link, vas a ver un video sobre las criaturas fantásticas. ¿Cuáles se mencionan?

Activity 3.2 ¿Qué criaturas se muestran? Escribe el nombre de cada una debajo de la imagen. (Descarga la actividad y usa cualquier herramienta para realizarla).

Activity 3.3 Ahora, practica la pronunciación y escritura de las criaturas fantástcas.

Activity 3.4 A continuación, escucha el audio de la siguiente historia para relacionar las imágenes con las estrófas. (Descarga la actividad y usa cualquier herramienta para realizarla).

The Loch Ness Monster Deep in a lake in __________ lives Nessie. Nessie is a __________ creature. Fishermen call Nessie the __________ Ness Monster. Since the __________ century, people have claimed to have seen Nessie and in 1934 Dr. Robert Kenneth Wilson got a blurry __________ of the monster. Today people claim they have seen Nessie but no one has been able to capture the moster at the bottom of the __________, so we don't know if Nessie is real.



Activity 3.6 En la siguiente actividad, enumera las oraciones y en tu cuaderno escribe el párrafo acerca de la leyenda del Nahual.

Activity 3.7 Por último, ve la película "La leyenda de la nahuala". Comenta con tus familiares las diferencias que hay entre la actividad anterior y la película.
